All About Me!
Emily Harlan is an experienced Radio Personality, Sports Reporter and Host who was born and raised in Southern California. She has over 14 years of experience in broadcasting, reporting and hosting.
She currently is the afternoon drive host and music director for KBAY in San Francisco and San Jose. Additional on-air work includes weekends on KUPL in Portland, WWWF in Long Island and Fill in on KBFF in Portland. She is the founder and host of "She's Country", a weekly afternoon show highlighting and celebrating women in country music. Emily is also the Digital and In Arena Host for the San Jose Sharks as well as a contributor for the NBC Sports Bay Area broadcasts. Previously Emily worked as a Host and Reporter for FOX Sports San Diego covering the Anaheim Ducks, San Diego Padres, San Diego Gulls and more! She has appeared on FOX Sports West's weekly television series, 'Ducks Weekly' as well as on other FOX Sports television and digital platforms.
She was also a Co Host on Fox5 for a biweekly televised segment 'Gulls All Access' that she helped launch in 2019. The show gave fans a behind the scenes look at stories surrounding the San Diego Gulls.
Another of her roles was working for the San Diego Gulls as the In Arena Host, Digital Correspondent and Entertainment Coordinator. Her role included interviewing the team, in-arena hosting for up to 12,920 fans per night, writing and hosting monthly recap pieces as well as community segments and bringing digital content directly to the fans.
Emily also appeared twice on the sports debate show 'Going Roggin' on NBC. She made it to the top 6 out of hundreds of contestants on 'The Choice'.
Emily was the pre and post game host for the Anaheim Ducks High School Hockey League where she interviewed players and coaches and was the color commentator for weekly games. She was also the sports reporter for Fullerton College Athletics where she wrote and recorded her own content for game recaps, hosted Hall Of Fame red carpet events, wrote blog posts to be featured on the web and was given the Sports Reporter of the Year award.
Her favorite highlights of her career so far have been: Covering the CMA Awards, and interviewing Tiger Woods.
When Emily isn't working you can find her at a country music concert, having a glass of wine or spending some time outdoors with her husband and her dog Beto.
Emily received her bachelor's degree from California State University, Long Beach in Communication Studies and also studied Radio and TV Sports Broadcasting at Fullerton College.
She has trained with some of the best hosting coaches, including Emmy nominated Suzanne Sena.
Emily was a host for AfterbuzzTV which is owned by Maria Menounos.
